MoJoe’s opened on August 20, 2016. It started from an idea that Neosho needed a coffee shop on Neosho Boulevard.MoJoe’s is owned by mother and daughter Diane Kunkel and Shelly Bales. They are both coffee lovers and love the whole coffee experience. Going to a coffee shop was always part of their birthday celebrations and girls nights out and they sought to create a shop that would be a place to relax, meet with family and friends and enjoy the simpler pleasures of life. Once the idea was formed they determined to learn all they could about the coffee business.
Coffee Fest in Dallas
They attended Coffee Fest in Dallas and made contact with vendors for everything from picking a great roaster to espresso machines and learning everything needed to run a successful coffee shop.
The perfect coffee shop
A location was selected & renovations began on the building to create the perfect coffee shop. Meanwhile, the hard work of picking a roaster, to menu design & getting supplies began as they worked toward the fruition of their “big” dream.
